Panel discussion with cartoonists Stuart Carlson, who was with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 25 years, and Phil Hands, with Madison’s Wisconsin State Journal, and moderator Mitch Teich, Executive Producer of WUWM’s Lake Effect. The panelists will share personal experiences and explore the history and significance of political cartoons both historically and in terms of contemporary climate and technology. This program is being offered in connection with the Jewish Museum Milwaukee exhibit, Arthur Szyk: The Art of Illumination, on display from February 7 – May 15, 2016.
