Madam Chino wants to teach you how to tell your story through fibers! Bring your family for this hands-on workshop that will inspire you to create a narrative textile panel for story-telling sessions with your children and grandchildren!
Work with applique; learn textile collaging, and traditional and freestyle embroidery. If you already know the ins and outs of the techniques, use this opportunity to share that craft with your family! Appropriate for 3rd grade and above.
Vanessa Andrews is the owner of Madam Chino, a fashion design company that promotes expression over vanity, sustainability over waste, and fair labor over free trade.
General Admission: $20 for families (up to 4 people total; $3 for additional family members)
