Donate Your Materials

An important and easy way to become involved with the Jewish Museum Milwaukee is to donate materials documenting the diversity of life of Milwaukee’s Jewish individuals, families, organizations and businesses for research and display purposes. Future Museum exhibitions are oftentimes developed from our archives. These archival materials can include:

– Letters, diaries, recollections and reflections
– Photographs, scrapbooks
– Family genealogies
– Veterans’ photos and stories
– Household records, cookbooks
– School annuals, schoolwork
– Citizenship records
– Birth, marriage and death certificates
– Newspaper articles
– Programs, newsletters and club records
– Business records, contracts, marketing plans
– Scholarly manuscripts
– Technical reports, product designs, blueprints
– Advertising media
– Membership rosters
– Audio and videotapes

*PLEASE NOTE: ALL donation requests must be made by setting up an appointment with our Archives Director. If you have materials to donate, or if you know someone else who does, please contact us at or 414-390-5759 to schedule an appointment.
