Jewish Museum Milwaukee invites our Milwaukee County neighbors to enjoy a Community Free Day at the Museum. For one day only, anyone living in Milwaukee County can visit free of charge and experience our current special exhibit, 48 Jews: Layers of Identity.
Featuring vibrant portraits by artist Abshalom Jac Lahav, 48 Jews explores the many ways Jewish identity is shaped, expressed, inherited, questioned, and reimagined. Through figures from history, culture, politics, art, entertainment, and everyday life, the exhibit invites visitors to consider how identity is never just one thing. It is layered, personal, communal, and always evolving.
Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning with family and friends, Community Free Day is an opportunity to explore Jewish history, culture, and identity right here in Milwaukee.
