Conversation Starters: Artists Richard and Nina Edelman

Richard Edelman metal sculptor, and Nina Edelman textile artist, welcome you into their home studios. Richard has worked with metals his whole life as an engineer, broker, and in the recent decade as a sculptor. Nina grew up in a family of fabric mavens, sewing and enjoying craft projects. They will talk about past and more recent work and share some thoughts about future projects.

Join Anne Basting for a book reading and discussion to hear the touching stories that inspire and guide us all—family, friends, and health professionals—in how to connect and interact with those living with dementia. Basting will also discuss how TimeSlips has adapted to this critical moment in history, and how the ideas in the book can help us use the arts to reach each other in this moment of distancing and quarantine.
