Date(s) - Sunday, June 23rd
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Jewish Museum Milwaukee
Join Jewish Museum Milwaukee and the Young Leadership Division of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation for family-friendly experiences exploring Chagall’s Le Cirque.
Bring your ‘greatest showman’ for a day celebrating all things circus, with activities for carnies of all ages, including lessons in juggling, hula hooping and circus-inspired dance. Then get twisted with some balloon twisting, cirque makeup, the parachute game, and a make-your-own-circus print workshop. The day will be complete with circus snacks like Cracker Jacks, animal cookies and circus peanuts.
Balloon twisting, juggling, hula hooping and cirque makeup will all be taught or created by the talented performers at Anna Belle Aerial. The dance workshop will be taught by Betty Salamun of DanceCircus and the performance will be inspired by the movements, energy and gesture of the circus. Community partner Arts@Large will have an activity booth that will speak to the young and the young-at-heart.
