dsc0801-version-2Join one of Jewish Museum Milwaukee’s most knowledgeable docents for a tour of Blacklist: The Hollywood Red Scare, and explore the intersection of politics, art, economics, and the social dynamics that impacted the American First Amendment rights of speech, religion, and assembly during Hollywood’s Red Scare. Investigate personal narratives of those who were blacklisted, members of House Un-American Activities Committee or HUAC, and film executives, and examine the shifting definition of what it meant and means to be a patriotic American.

Tours being at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Free with Museum admission.
