GMP Virtual Tour of Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles

dsc0801-version-2Explore Common Ground: The Heart of Community, the Japanese American National Museum’s on-going core exhibition. This collections-based guided presentation will chronologically explore the Japanese American experience from the 1860s through the post-war era, with an emphasis on the WWII incarceration experience. Led by a JANM staff educator, history comes alive and participants are encouraged to build personal and human connections, think critically and engage in lifelong learning. The program will be followed by a powerful testimony and time for questions from a survivor of America’s Concentration Camps.
