Internationally renowned, New York-based Luba Lukova is regarded as one of the most original image-makers working today. Whether by using an economy of line, color and text to pinpoint essential themes of humanity or to succinctly visualize social commentary, her work is undeniably powerful and thought-provoking. Through indelible metaphors with universal resonance Luba helps viewers develop an empathetic understanding for social and cultural issues that she hopes will catalyze action and change the world.

Join us for a virtual evening of social justice-inspired art and song. Local musician Lil Rev will play a set of social justice-themed songs including Bob Dylan selections. Get inspired by a virtual artist talk and Q & A with Luba Lukova live from her New York studio as she speaks about her Designing Justice portfolio. Wrap up the evening with a virtual tour of the exhibits presented by JMM curator, Molly Dubin.
