Taste The Jewish Deli exhibit the week it opens! More than a place to get a meal, the Jewish deli is a community forged in food. Explore how Jewish immigrants, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, imported and adapted traditions to create a uniquely American restaurant.

TIME: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Bus pick-up and drop-off at Jewish Community Center (6255 N Santa Monica Blvd)
COST: Museum Members $80 | JCC Members $80* | Nonmembers $95
Cost includes round-trip coach bus transportation, a docent-guided tour of The Jewish Deli exhibit, admission to the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center’s permanent exhibit, and a deli box lunch.
Deli box lunches by Once Upon A Deli include 3 mini-sandwiches (turkey, corned beef, egg salad), fruit, pickle, coleslaw, cookie, and a bottle of water. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options are available.
