Donate Your Materials

An important and easy way to become involved with the Jewish Museum Milwaukee is to donate materials documenting the diversity of life of Milwaukee’s Jewish individuals, families, organizations and businesses for research and display purposes. Future Museum exhibitions are oftentimes developed from our archives. These archival materials can include:

  • Letters, diaries, recollections and reflections
  • Photographs, scrapbooks
  • Family genealogies
  • Veterans’ photos and stories
  • Household records, cookbooks
  • School annuals, schoolwork
  • Citizenship records
  • Birth, marriage and death certificates
  • Newspaper articles
  • Programs, newsletters and club records
  • Business records, contracts, marketing plans
  • Scholarly manuscripts
  • Technical reports, product designs, blueprints
  • Advertising media
  • Membership rosters
  • Audio and videotapes

*PLEASE NOTE: ALL donation requests must be made by setting up an appointment with our Archives Director. If you have materials to donate, or if you know someone else who does, please contact us at, or call us at 414-390-5759 to schedule an appointment.

Confront Hateby donating to Jewish Museum Milwaukee's Year End Campaign

Jewish Museum Milwaukee highlights historical events to build bridges between diverse groups, makes contemporary connections to our shared past, and confronts hate during a time of increasing antisemitic and racist incidents in our nation.

Please help the Jewish Museum Milwaukee deepen its IMPACT in the Milwaukee community and beyond with a generous year-end contribution. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar with a $25,000 CHALLENGE GRANT by a generous donor.
