The Jewish Museum Milwaukee is committed to sharing our exhibits with as many people as possible. We welcome group tours, school tours, and even facilitate virtual visits for individuals who can’t make it to the museum in person.

One of the city’s premiere history and culture museums, Jewish Museum Milwaukee is conveniently located in the Helfaer Community Service Building which also houses the offices of Milwaukee Jewish Federation, immediately north of downtown. The Lower Eastside of Milwaukee is ripe with unique Milwaukee attractions including restaurants, shops, and other cultural institutions.Â
Parking
Parking is available on the street and behind the Helfaer Community Service Building. The parking lot is the first turn on your right after the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Prospect Avenue. Reserved parking can be used on Sundays.

Amtrak trains serve the Milwaukee (MKE) station, 1.9 miles west of the Museum. There are several trains daily between Chicago and Milwaukee.
Accessibility
The Museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs, if needed, are available from the Admissions Desk. Handicapped parking is available in the parking lot. Backpack baby carriers are not permitted in the galleries. Service animals are welcome at the Jewish Museum Milwaukee.
Visitor Tips

Your fingers cause immediate damage, leaving oils and dirt behind.
Food and drink are not allowed in the galleries.
Store coats, backpacks, big bags, and umbrellas.
Coat racks are conveniently available for your use. We will gladly store your back packs or oversized bags at the front desk, which are not allowed in the galleries.
Personal, flash-free photos are usually encouraged.
We welcome photography, without flash or bright light, for personal use. Photo shoots and commercial use require advance approval. (Some exhibitions may have additional limitations.)
Tripods, selfie sticks, and drones are not allowed.
Selfie sticks and autonomous or radio-controlled devices are not permitted anywhere in the Museum. Tripods require special arrangements.
