Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark is a novel exhibit curated by the Museum of Jewish Heritage to tell the remarkable story of the rescue of the Danish Jews during the Holocaust.
Using state-of-the-art technology and creative storytelling, Courage to Act immerses visitors as young as 9 in age-appropriate themes of separation, bravery, and resilience. It helps young people make connections to their own lives and reflect on the dangers of prejudice—as well as their own potential for compassionate, moral, and courageous collective action and upstanding.
Join exhibit curator Sara Softness for a behind-the-scenes discussion of the development and creation of interactive and multimedia elements in this unique exhibit that speaks to audiences of all ages.
This program is being provided in partnership with the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.
